Grant of Options
Futura Medical plc (AIM: FUM), the pharmaceutical group that develops innovative products for consumer healthcare, announces that it has granted options over a total of 700,000 ordinary shares of 0.2p each in the Company to Directors as detailed below. This grant of options marks the first time since March 2005 that Futura Directors have been awarded options over ordinary shares in the Company.

The main vesting condition of the options is that the Directors remain employed with the Company as at the date of exercise. Derek Martin received 100,000 options on 9 July 2007 and 100,000 options on 20 June 2008 prior to his becoming a Director of the Company. James Barder holds 416,500 shares as a non beneficial interest.
